Scripture: Hebrews 11verses1-6
Scripture in brief:
Enoch was pleased by God and walked with God
Have faith in God; act what pleasing to Him, it is seeking God; walking with God.
Scripture Teaching:
By faith Enoch was taken from his life by God, and did not experience death. Before he was taken away, Enoch was commended by God as one pleasing to Him. Without faith it is impossible for human beings to please God, and the price of sin is death. Owing to listening to serpent the devil, the first human couple disobeyed the command of God, and sin came into human race and the world, everyone has to experience death. Enoch pleased God, so he did not go through death, I believe Enoch is someone most pleasing to God, not many in the world.
Although the Bible does not tell us in details what Enoch had done, which had pleased God, but the Bible tells us Enoch walked with God most of his life. What means by walking with God in our life? Check with the Bible or pray to God for teaching. Pray, read the Bible, praise, give thanks; Attend meetings; Fellowship in love with brethren; Act righteously and be merciful; Preach and testify Jesus; invite others to churches; all these are. Our performance may not be as perfect as Enoch making us death-free, still we can have lots of blessings from God as a result.
Having act against the command of God and ate of the forbidden fruit, Adam & Eve knew good & evil. To know evil & good is good, but disobeying the command of God put us in sin. Life with sin is life departed from God. After eating the forbidden fruit, and when God appeared to them, the first action of Adam & Eve was hiding themselves and their bodies, because sinful lives could not go with the holiness of God, or they would be killed. Only if we trust God and act what pleasing Him, shall we be pleased by God; walk with God; and enjoy His blessings. Whoever believes in God, has to believe God exist and God reward those seeking Him. Act more what are pleasing to God, i.e. seek God, so as to walk with God and be blessed.
